I think you found the same recipe I did online, and have modified it in the same way as I have. :)

The big gotcha I found with the original recipe was that I had to keep the tomatoes and lentils apart until the lentils had fully cooked, because there's something in tomato that causes lentils to harden up instead of softening as they should.

I also leave out the red wine, and I use diced canned tomatoes and tomato paste when I'm lazy.

Thanks for cleaning up this wonderful recipe!

Wow, this is the first time I ever tried to make a starchy sweet potato/yam into a raw soup, It turned out better than I expected.

I skipped the carrot juice and apple juice since I didn't have them, then put in an organic orange -- peel and all because i've been reading about the health benefits of citrus rind. then I used 1/8 teaspoon of each of the herbs and salt except for nutmeg, which I did not have. Then I blended in about 1/3 cup of soaked hazel nuts which I had on hand to counter the starchiness. Used about 3 to 4 cups of water, blended it all on high in the vitamix until warm. It's pretty good!

Thanks for the inspiration!

Is that really true about the keloids? If I eat raw will it make the keloids shrink or go away? I have had them since in my twenties. I am now 60. I have had them removed by laser surgery and anything else out there. They have always come back, and come back bigger.

I'll try anything!!!

Hi,
I am new to your site, Found you through StumbleUpon & I would love to learn more about you, I have been looking into our so called Great, Healthy Meat & Poultry Industry, Which I have found to be, nothing more than an Out of Control Money Machine, Besides being the #1 Industry that tortures, mutilates, kills & slaughters diseased, sick, broken & maimed creatures, All in the name of Progress(Profit-Capitalism), There I go again, Sorry,,,,,The whole thing just sickens me,,,This is why I have become an activist Vegan, & the more I find sites like this, The more hope I have for our future generations. I will look more into your site, In the mean time, Could you share some no-dairy alternatives in cooking & baking? Thank you...I look forward to future corispondence,
