I like to eat my falafel outside of the pita or flatbread for a few bites! Just to get the complete taste. This was really good, although oily, as you have to pan-saute in some oil to get a nice crunchy coating for your falafel. Shown here served with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, chopped mint, and a lemon Vegenaise-yogurt sauce.
We also had quinoa salad with red grapes.
Very good meal. You can guess that we’re full after all of that food!

I wish there was a way to make falafal balls crispy without frying them. But alas….

If I hadn’t had falafel for lunch yesterday this would drive me nuts! Looks fab. I like to partially bake and fry my falafels.

What kind of chick peas did you use for it? canned, cooked, etc.
I haven’t made falafel in quite a while.
