I don’t know the names of the dishes. The broccoli and tofu dish was my favorite. The tofu is special and hard to find, we were told, as it has water chestnuts and other vegetables in it, superior flavor, and the sauce was slightly sweet. The other tofu-looking dish is similar to kung pao. The tofu for this one has a meaty texture and mushrooms inside. We also had rice and a miso-seaweed soup that was very tasty, not too much miso or seaweed.
Desserts was a mung bean crepe with maple syrup. It was unique, sweet, and not too filling.
We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us tomorrow!
The whole feel of this place is meditative, especially with the Asian decor. I instantly felt relaxed when we walked in and had a cup of hot tea.
One can only hope that there will be an Ocean Lotus cookbook one day.
After dinner, we said “hello” to the goats, who were awakened by our voices but happily accepted the massages to their heads!

The food looks amazing. I hope it’s that good the entire week.
